Delivering the Social Partnership and Public Procurement (Wales) Act

10.30 - 12.00
Virtual

As part of Cydweithio, Cyd’s Community of Practice, we are pleased to invite members to an online Community session focused on the Social Partnership and Public Procurement (Wales) Act (SPPP Act).

The session will provide an opportunity to explore the policy context and what the legislation seeks to achieve, while gaining insight into the support, guidance and resources available to help organisations implement its requirements. Attendees will also gain a better understanding of the role organisations play in delivering the socially responsible procurement duties set out in Part 3 of the Act.

Members will hear directly from Welsh Government legislation colleagues on key implementation requirements and expectations, gain an overview of the tools and support currently available, and learn about the practical actions organisations should be taking.

Attendees have the opportunity to ask questions in advance of the session and highlight areas where further support may be beneficial. Questions must be emailed to Cyd@Gov.Wales by 25 September.

Community will have the opportunity to feedback experiences and challenges during the session which will help shape future Cydweithio activities and resources, ensuring support continues to reflect the needs of the community.
